Hello, I’m Srishti

a designer who asks too many questions.

a designer who asks too many questions.

The good kind. It's usually how I find the actual problem.

I've spent the last five years turning complicated workflows into interfaces people don't have to think twice about fintech, e-commerce, enterprise SaaS. Ask enough "whys" and the right design usually shows up on its own.

How I Started

How I Started

I didn't take the straight-and-narrow path to UX, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My journey began with a Computer Applications degree, giving me a backstage pass to how technology is built. But I soon realized that just writing code could be a little overwhelming. I was more curious about the "why" behind the technology—I wanted to understand user pain points and the business goals.

My curiosity led me through marketing internships and a stint in product photography, where I discovered that my brain is happiest when creating things that look and feel just right. I realized this passion was a real job, so I dove headfirst into the world of design as a self-taught UX designer, fueled by YouTube tutorials, online courses, and every UX workshop I could find.

That "aha!" moment has now turned into a 5-year career of doing what I love: untangling complex problems and building things that help people. At Ameriprise Financials LLP, I lead design on key projects and steer our enterprise-level design system. It’s the perfect mix of creative chaos and satisfying order, and I truly enjoy every step of the process, from the first stakeholder chat to the final pixel-perfect handoff.

Here's a note to my future design team:

  • I'm enthusiastic about research

  • Working together? Count me in

  • I design things and I believe design can change things for better

  • Keeping my eyes on the end users, always

  • I ask too many “whys”
